UFO Day in Belleville.

Thanks to everyone for making the 35th Annual 2021 UFO Day a huge success!

We believe we had the largest turn-out ever for the parade. We're going to be working to make next year's event even bigger and better. If you would like to volunteer to help, let us know! And it's never too early to start creating your float for the parade!

UFO Day is an annual event held on the last Saturday in October in downtown Belleville. The day features special offerings that typically include a craft and vendor sale, food vendors, music, library book sale, pancake breakfast, and a costume ball. But the main event is the UFO Day Parade that marches down Main Street. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and bring goody bags as parade participants throw candy to the crowds.

UFO Day commemorates a famous UFO sighting in Belleville that captured national attention. Learn more from this video interviewing author Noah Voss...
