Fire Department 100 Year Celebration

Belleville Fire will celebrate its 100^th anniversary on Saturday June 23, 2012. The daylong celebration will include FREE events for children and adults alike.

Highlighting the celebration will be a parade of antique and new fire apparatus beginning at 1:00 pm. We will be featuring the New Glarus Ladder Company and several honored department retirees. A Commemoration Ceremony will be held immediately after the parade at the Fire Station.

All activities will take place in Belleville Library Park directly across from the Fire Station or in the station itself. There will be exhibits in the station all day and commemorative items for purchase.

Events throughout the day include:

• Children’s activities for various ages
• Fire truck rides
• Food stands
• Water fights
• Beer tent (3:00 p.m. thru 10:00 p.m.)
• Music by Greenfield Brothers from 3:00 to 5:00 PM
  • Music featuring Summer Haze from 5:30-9:30 PM

Belleville Village Wide Garage Sale

The 2012 Village Garage Sale is scheduled for Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th.

About the Chamber

The Belleville Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization with over 60 members that helps cultivate a positive business climate, promote the Belleville community, and organize and facilitate community events.

Big Things Moving Forward

2011 was an important year for the Chamber. We not only had great events with fantastic attendance, but we also began brainstorming a more defined vision. One looking to highlight the retail and restaurant businesses as well as featuring our diverse service industry. This year is pivotal moving foward in becoming a fully rounded organization, dedicated to helping our community's entire business climate.

We are planning an upgrade to our website, expansion of our marketing plan as well as our annual scholarship. Additionally, we are exloring new events, including a 5K run through town to go with our Quilt Show and Live Local Music on Bastille Day weekend in July and an annual triathlon in September.

Benefits

Every member is eligible for Group Health Chamber Care health insurance. All businesses are featured on the Chamber website, including the rotating front page feature and in the member directory, and can also participate in the Belleville Bucks program. Along with that, members may request prominent postings on the "Belleville Wisconsin" Facebook page. Members also have the opportunity to join the Board (an election is around the corner) to help shape the Chamber's mission.
